We met Barnabas and his family in 2017 after Barnabas suffered a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident. The Access Life Bali team has helped Barnabas over the years as he has recovered. Because of the brain injury, Barnabas still has difficulty with walking and has a hard time remembering which has made it challenging to find a consistent job. Since the pandemic, several of his family members have lost their jobs as businesses have had to close or cut staff. And even though they have tried to find other work, it is a difficult time to find a new job.
Barnabas and his family are so thankful for the food packets that help in this economically difficult time.
